AI

AI that does a job. Not AI that does a demo.

Receptionists that answer every call, integrations wired into the systems you already run, automations that remove the eleven-o’clock job nobody wants. Built on your own accounts, at the provider’s own price.

The short answer

What an AI build actually is.

An AI integration is a language model connected to the systems a business already runs — the phone line, the calendar, the CRM, the website — so it can do a specific job end to end rather than answer questions in a chat window. The common ones are answering calls and booking appointments, triaging enquiries, and drafting or filing repetitive documents. It is priced from the hours the integration takes, and it then runs on the business’s own account with the model or telephony provider, at that provider’s published price.

The part that decides whether it works is not the model. It is whether the thing it has to reach has an API, and whether anybody wrote down what should happen when it does not know the answer.

What this section does not claim

No case study for this, yet.

There is no published client result for AI work on this site. Every page in this section says so in its own words rather than leaving you to notice, and carries method, published vendor pricing and our own search research instead of an invented outcome. That is the same position the Google Ads page takes, for the same reason — and it is set out in full on how we measure.

What can be built

Six things worth building first.

Each has its own page with what it costs, what it does badly, and when the simpler thing wins.

  • AI receptionist

A phone line that answers on the first ring at three in the morning, takes the details, books the appointment and sends you the summary — and tells the caller it is not a person.

  • Virtual receptionists and answering services

The established option, priced per call or per minute, and the comparison nobody selling one will give you honestly.

  • AI integrations

Not a chatbot bolted onto a website. AI wired into the thing your business actually does, doing the job nobody wants to do at eleven at night.

  • AI automation

Most of what gets sold as AI automation is a workflow tool with a model in the middle. That is fine — but only if somebody picked the right workflow.

  • AI chatbots and customer service

The most-requested AI build and the one most likely to make a website worse. Here is when it genuinely helps, and how to stop it becoming the thing people close.

  • AI agents for business

The word is doing a great deal of work in the market right now. This is what it means, what it is worth, and where the simpler thing wins.

Our own research

What the UK is searching for.

Pulled from DataForSEO for the United Kingdom on 4 September 2026. Difficulty is 0–100; cost per click is what advertisers are actually paying, which prices the demand better than any market report.

UK search demand for AI services, September 2026
SearchPer monthDifficultyCost per click
ai receptionist1,00013£22.94
telephone answering service88025£99.31
ai automation agency72021£20.36
virtual receptionist59011£60.95
ai customer service59023£111.62
ai integration3205£22.83
call answering service uk32025£86.57
ai consultancy uk1702£20.77

Two readings of that table. Nobody pays £111.62 a click for “ai customer service” unless the customer behind it is worth a great deal — so the demand is real and it is commercial. And an AI Overview sat above every one of those results when we read them, which is why each page here answers the question in its first paragraph rather than the fourth.

Pricing

Hours, then the provider’s own bill.

AI work is priced on application, quoted from the hours the integration takes — the connections, the script, the testing against real calls or real tickets. Once it is live it runs on your own account with the provider, so the monthly is what the provider charges you and not what an agency decides to charge you for it.

For context on how everything else is priced: websites start at £500 plus from £50 a month, and ongoing work is a block of hours from £250 a month. Large or complex builds are priced on application for the same reason this is: the hours are the honest unit.

Straight answers

Questions about AI builds.

What does an AI build cost?

It is priced on application, from the hours the work takes. There is no honest single number, because an agent that reads one calendar and an agent that reads a calendar, a CRM and a stock system are not the same job. Websites start at £500 plus hosting from £50 a month; AI work is scoped first because the hours depend entirely on what it has to connect to.

Do I pay you a monthly fee for the AI itself?

No. It runs on your own account with the provider, at the provider’s own price, and you can see the bill. Cybrial does not resell a platform at a markup. The build is the hours; the running cost is between you and whoever supplies the model or the phone number.

Do you have a case study for this?

Not yet, and no page in this section pretends otherwise. This is the same position the Google Ads page takes: until there is a client result that can be evidenced with their permission, these pages carry method, published pricing and our own research instead of an outcome.

Is AI actually worth it for a small business?

For some jobs, plainly yes — answering the phone at three in the morning, triaging enquiries, drafting the same email for the four hundredth time. For others it is an expensive way to do something a form and a rule would do better. The first conversation is usually about which of those two you have, and sometimes the answer is that you do not need this.

Will it be obvious to customers that it is AI?

Yes, because it should be. Every build tells the caller or the visitor that it is not a person and gives them a route to one. Pretending otherwise is the fastest way to lose the trust you were trying to build.

Can you add AI to a site somebody else built?

Usually. It depends what the site is built on and whether the systems it needs to reach have an API. That is the first thing a scope answers, and if the answer is that it cannot be done cleanly you will be told that rather than sold a workaround.

Not sure whether you need this?

Tell me the job you are trying to get rid of and I will tell you honestly whether AI is the right tool for it — including when a form, a rule or a phone diversion would do the same work for nothing.
