From 672 to 7,781 organic clicks a month

By Measured 4 September 2026

A 17,000-product furniture retailer that was effectively invisible in search. Five months of retainer work on catalogue structure, product data and technical SEO took Beds.ie from under 700 organic clicks a month to nearly 8,000 — and monthly revenue more than tripled over the same period.

The problem

What we were up against.

Beds.ie sells more than 17,000 products across beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture. The range was the asset and the problem: a catalogue that large is impossible to merchandise by hand, and almost none of it was reaching Google properly. Product data was inconsistent, the shopping feed was rejecting items, and the site ranked for a fraction of the terms it deserved.

The work

What I actually did.

  1. Rebuilt the category structure so all 17,789 products sit in a crawlable, logical hierarchy rather than a flat list.
  2. Automated product-data enrichment and validation, then wired it to a live Merchant Centre sync that reports rejections instead of silently dropping items.
  3. Fixed the technical foundations — redirects, 404 monitoring, structured data and page speed — and kept monitoring them monthly.
  4. Put Search Console data into a database the client can actually query, so ranking work is measured rather than argued about.

The outcome

Between April and August 2026 organic clicks grew more than elevenfold, the site now appears for over 24,000 distinct search queries, and monthly revenue went a 208% increase The homepage still renders in under half a second despite carrying a 17,000-product catalogue.
