The biggest search market on this site after Manchester, and the clearest example of why going straight for the obvious term is the expensive way in.

What a website costsCybrial is a Manchester studio. Leeds is over the Pennines and there is no Leeds client, so what this page offers is the search data for the city, pulled first-hand, and an honest read of it. The work is delivered remotely, which is how most of it is delivered anyway.
Leeds is the largest financial and legal centre outside London, with a substantial digital sector, two large universities and a retail core that serves most of West Yorkshire. That mix matters for the website: a lot of the commercial demand here is business-to-business and considered, where the decision is made over weeks by somebody comparing three firms, rather than a phone call from outside a job.
Leeds is also the only one of these four with real e-commerce demand in the data — "ecommerce website design leeds" at 110 a month. The closest comparable work is Beds.ie, a 17,000-product retailer that was effectively invisible in search, rebuilt and recovered over five months. That was delivered to Ireland without being in the room, which is the honest answer to what working with a Manchester studio from Leeds looks like.
And before any website work at all: the Google Business Profile. It is free, it takes an afternoon, and for a local business it decides the map pack that sits above every result a website can win. That is an awkward thing to put on a web designer’s page and it is still the right first move.
The same three numbers as everybody else, published rather than quoted on request: from £500 for the build, from £50 a month for hosting and care, and growth blocks from £250 a month if and when the site should start earning more. No setup fee, no management fee, no percentage of ad spend, and no minimum term on anything.

A 17,000-product furniture retailer that was effectively invisible in search. Five months of retainer work on catalogue structure, product data and technical SEO took Beds.ie from under 700 organic clicks a month to nearly 8,000 — and monthly revenue more than tripled over the same period.
Straight answers
No, and this page says so rather than implying otherwise. What it offers instead is the search data for the city pulled first-hand, and the nearest comparable work — Beds.ie, a 17,000-product retailer taken from invisible to recovered over five months, delivered remotely.
Less than it used to, and I would rather say that plainly than pretend to a Leeds office. The work is conversations, a build and a handover. Beds.ie was delivered to Ireland the same way. If you would rather sit down with someone in the city, that is a fair reason to use someone in the city.

Claim and complete the Google Business Profile and ask ten customers for a review. It is free, it takes an afternoon, and for most local businesses it will out-earn the first several months of anything I could sell you.
Tell me what you sell, who buys it, and what the current site is not doing. You get a straight reply from Simon — what I would build, what it costs, and what I would do first.
