Stoke is six towns that federated into one city and never quite became one place. Hanley, Burslem, Tunstall, Longton, Fenton and Stoke are distinct to the people who live in them, and a business covering them is covering six markets, not one.

What a website costsCybrial is a one-person studio in Manchester, about an hour down the M6. There is no Stoke office. The city’s measured search data from 4 October 2026 is below.
Stoke is six towns that federated into one city and never quite became one place — Hanley, Burslem, Tunstall, Longton, Fenton and Stoke itself — and that genuinely matters for a local business. A customer in Longton does not think of themselves as being in the same place as a business in Tunstall, and the search behaviour follows: service-plus-town-name searches across the six are collectively worth more than the city term. A page for each town you genuinely serve is the structure the city’s geography asks for.
The economy is ceramics with everything that implies — a long manufacturing tradition now spanning advanced materials, industrial ceramics and the surviving pottery brands — plus distribution on the M6 and A500, a large public sector and university, and the retail and trades serving the six towns. The nearest comparable work is Roch Sweets, a family retailer where standard e-commerce could not model how the product is actually bought, so the buying journey was written rather than configured — loading completely in 1.27 seconds with zero layout shift.
Worth saying plainly rather than hoping you do not ask: I am in Manchester, not Stoke-on-Trent. There is no local office and this page does not pretend there is one. Two builds in Northern Ireland and one in the Republic of Ireland have run entirely remotely without difficulty, and what you should insist on from any remote supplier is the same list I would insist on — the domain registered in your name, the hosting in your own account, a full working copy of the site if you ever leave, and no exit fee. All four are standard here and they are written down on the pricing page.
And before any website work at all: the Google Business Profile. It is free, it takes an afternoon, and for a local business it decides the map pack that sits above every result a website can win. That is an awkward thing to put on a web designer’s page and it is still the right first move.
The same three numbers as everybody else, published rather than quoted on request: from £500 for the build, from £50 a month for hosting and care, and growth blocks from £250 a month if and when the site should start earning more. No setup fee, no management fee, no percentage of ad spend, and no minimum term on anything.

Straight answers
The towns, mostly. Hanley, Burslem, Tunstall, Longton, Fenton and Stoke are distinct places to the people who live in them, and the service-plus-town searches across the six are collectively worth more than the city term.
No — Manchester, about an hour up the M6, and the page says so rather than implying a local office. There is a Stafford page on this site too.
From £500 for the build, from £50 a month for hosting and care, growth blocks from £250 a month. No setup fee, no minimum term.
Tell me what you sell, who buys it, and what the current site is not doing. You get a straight reply from Simon — what I would build, what it costs, and what I would do first.
