Web Design and SEO for Recruitment Agencies

By Measured 4 October 2026

The dearest click we have measured anywhere — £60.50 — sits on a term most agencies are not even trying to rank for.

Pricing

from £500

for the build, then from £50 a month hosting & care.

The same three numbers in every sector. No setup fee, no minimum term.

What a website costs

Cybrial is a Manchester studio working with a small number of businesses at a time. There is no recruitment agency on the client list, so this page leads with the market and with the nearest comparable work.

What usually goes wrong in recruitment agencies

The site has to sell to two audiences who want opposite things, and almost every agency site picks one. A candidate wants jobs, fast, on a phone, without a registration wall. A hiring client wants to know what you actually place, how long it takes, what you charge and who you are — and finds a page of stock photography and the word "partnership". The client side is where the money is and it is routinely the thinner half of the site.

The job board is usually invisible. Vacancies arrive through an applicant tracking system in an iframe or a script, on somebody else’s domain, with no job posting markup, and they vanish the moment the role is filled. So the one part of the site generating fresh, specific, high-intent content every week contributes almost nothing to search. Roles that render as real indexable pages, with structured data, are the difference between a job board that works for you and one that is decoration.

And the proposition is interchangeable. Four agencies advertise the same vacancy on the same day with the same description, and nothing on any of their sites says why a client should instruct this one. What would — fill rates, time to hire, what happens if a placement leaves, which sectors you genuinely know — is the information agencies are most reluctant to publish and the only thing that settles the decision.

What transfers, and what does not

The transferable work is Vehicles 2 Lease, where the entire problem was that every competitor showed the same thing at nearly the same price. Restructuring around a clear hierarchy and an obvious enquiry route moved form conversion from roughly one per cent to roughly four, on the client’s own figures, and the site answers in 0.19 seconds. An agency differentiating itself from three others advertising the same role is making the same move.

What this page cannot show is a recruitment agency. There is not one on the client list, and the sector data above is research rather than a result produced for somebody in it.

What you get, and what it costs

The same three numbers as every other page on this site: from £500 for the build, from £50 a month for hosting and care, and growth blocks from £250 a month when you want the site to earn more. No setup fee, no management fee, no percentage of ad spend, no minimum term.

  • A bespoke build rather than a page-builder assembly, so it is fast on a phone rather than fast on your laptop.
  • A page for each thing you actually sell and each place you sell it, so every search a customer might run has somewhere of its own to land.
  • Editable by you, with a walkthrough at handover.
  • The domain in your name and the hosting in your account, with a full working copy if you ever leave.
  • Tracking that counts phone taps as well as forms, because in most sectors the phone is the majority of enquiries.

The nearest comparable work

Vehicles 2 Lease.

Van leasing is a price-comparison market where every competitor looks identical. We rebuilt the site around qualified enquiries rather than traffic — and the client reports form conversion moving from about 1% to about 4%.

Straight answers

Questions from recruitment agencies.

Do you work with recruitment agencies?

Not yet, and this page says so. The nearest comparable work is Vehicles 2 Lease, which competes in a market where every rival lists the same stock at the same price — the same problem as four agencies advertising one vacancy.

Can you integrate our applicant tracking system?

Usually, and the thing that matters is whether the roles render as real pages Google can read rather than inside a script or an iframe on another domain. Jobs published with proper structured data can appear in Google’s job results; jobs trapped in a widget cannot. That one difference is most of the value of the integration.

Should the site be for candidates or clients?

Both, on separate routes, and the client side usually needs the most work because it is the side that pays. Candidates need jobs fast on a phone with no registration wall. Clients need fill rates, timescales, terms and sector evidence — the things that are hardest to publish and the only ones that decide an instruction.

What does it cost?

From £500 for the build and £50 a month for hosting and care. An agency site with a live job feed, structured data on every role and a separate client journey is a bigger job and is quoted after a conversation.
